How the plan is calculated

  • Based on the Madinah Mushaf of the King Fahd Complex, Hafs narration — the edition we offer for download: 604 pages, 30 juz', 60 hizbs, 240 quarters, 6,236 verses.
  • The total is spread over the days as evenly as possible, and you can make every khatm end at the end of a day. Sittings are divided by pages, and no sitting mixes the end of one khatm with the start of the next — so every khatm ends at the end of a sitting, ready for the du'a.
  • Page starts come from the King Fahd Complex data; every page where sources disagreed was checked on the printed Mushaf pages. Quarter starts match the ۞ marks in the Mushaf text.
  • Times are estimates based on the number of letters; dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar, and the moon sighting is what counts.
